An Attitude of Gratitude

Gratitude is the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.

Many times in life we forget how to be thankful. We forget why its important and we forget how much further in life we can go when we embrace being thankful.  Gratitude is a gateway to a future that is on track with our desires.

Everything we think and feel is creating our future. If you are ungrateful or fearful, that is what comes into your life. However, if you are expressing gratitude and love that will be what comes into your life. Just a simple shift of your emotions can change your day and even your life.

Sometimes you just have to press pause and put up the sign that you are “Temporarily Closed for Spiritual Maintenance”. Shift your focus from the negative and let gratitude envelope your thoughts, feelings and life.

Winston Churchill said, “Create your own universe as you go along”. Your life is a physical manifestation of the thoughts that you have and gratitude is the first step to bring more into your life. Appreciation attracts support. Exercise it every morning, run through what you’re grateful for and feel the feeling associated with it. When you feel differently about what you have, you open up your life to be filled with more of the good things.

Feel the Joy, feel the happiness that comes from gratitude and watch it be an open doorway to create the things that have not existed before. I’ll say it one more time, we attract what we think.

I want to leave you with a few quotes to remember as we focus back on gratitude.
