Back to School Shopping with Dick’s Sporting Goods

This post is sponsored by Vocalpoint and Dick’s Sporting Goods. All opinions are my own.

So the kiddo and I took off on a Saturday Morning before school starts to grab a few items to get him ready for the first day.

Now my son isn’t much of a shopper so as you can imagine, our start wasn’t the most exciting, but after a little lunch…

…and some good convo with his hilarious mom, we were on our way to take care of business.

People forget sometimes that Dick’s Sporting Goods ® actually has everything you need for Back To School Shopping.  From the moment we hit the door, we were like kids in a candy store. They had everything from book bags, shoes, sports apparel, and lunch bags all in one place.

We checked out some new shoes, and even some new football gloves. But the highlight of his evening was running into the fishing poles. This kid has been begging me for a new one to get ready for his upcoming fishing escapades with his grandpa. As soon as the weather gets a little cooler, they’ll be out on the lake enjoying some fishing.

When you are a mom and often busy, there’s nothing more important than time with your kids and this past Saturday was an example of a perfect mother/son bonding and I must thank Dick’s for being that one stop shop for us. Plus we both came home with a new pair of shoes. He got a new pair of classic adidas and a fishing pole, while I got some new running shoes get this mom body back in order.

We are Back To School Ready! Don’t believe me—grab the kids, go shop and see for yourself!

Plus – Check out the preview video below and some of the items and then head to the Dick’s Sporting Goods store in your neighborhood.

Oh yeah, one last thing. If you’re feeling as if you’re missing out on the shopping fun? Don’t worry! Just enter for your chance to win

Take a look at our recap of photos. He is NOT a picture taker. May have to do with the fact that he is “too old” for it.
