If I had more money, I’d be happy is an age old belief that isn’t 100% true. Having money does not equal happiness. However, having money would solve a lot of financial problems if you utilize the resource correctly. Which in turn will relieve some burdens and result in a happier you but does it stop there? No.
Am I saying don’t reach for your goals or fight for your dreams? Heck no! I’m saying that life can be this extremely complex creature at times and then it can be completely and irrevocably simple. So, to keep things simple… know what makes you happy. Know why you are pursuing a better life for yourself and those around you. My question for you who are reading this and pursuing a better life…do you know your, “why”? The reason why you are doing it. The result you want to see in the end? Because if you don’t, you’re in for a rude awakening when you have everything you ever wanted but have no clue what to do with it besides buy things.
In the pursuit of happiness, you must balance out work and life and the people who show you love and concern. This includes family, but is certainly not limited to it because there are people who are rooting for you to succeed because your success is the hope that they need. Check your motives along the way and even periodically. You never want to get to the point when you have everything you’ve ever wanted but aren’t happy.
Pursue dreams not for material things and a fancy lifestyle. Pursue dreams for change. Pursue your dreams so that you can look up one and not have to question what you did with your life. Pursue your dreams to make a difference. Pursue your dreams so that one day you can give someone the knowledge and tools to do it too. Pursue your dreams to make a difference in the world.
Pursue your dreams for PURPOSE and life fulfillment.
